Discovery Call. First, things first! In our complimentary 15-minute call, we introduce ourselves and discuss how our firm may best serve your design needs. If we’re a mutually good fit, we move on to schedule an in-home consultation.

 

In-Home Consultation (2 Hours). Just as important, you get to know us—and understand all Loving Design brings to the table for your specific project. We get an in-person feel for your space and how you’d like us to reimagine it with you. We also determine your project investment and timeline.

 

Fee Proposal & Design Agreement. After reviewing your needs and timeline, we prepare a detailed Design Fee Estimate Proposal and Agreement for your review. It highlights the scope of work for the entire project, our design intent and goals, the design fee estimate, payment terms, the estimated timeline, and the terms and conditions. Upon your approval, you submit the design deposit, and we begin the next phase.

 

Site Measurement and Planning Day. During this time, we carefully assess and document the conditions of the existing space, take accurate measurements and photographs for reference.

 

Design Concept Plan Development. We develop our initial concepts into a full design plan that addresses your needs, satisfies desires, and solves any challenges within the space.

 

Presentation, Budget, Revision (If Any), and Follow-Up Presentations. We meet to discuss the details of your custom design plan. You see everything. The floor plans, color scheme, digital presentation boards, furniture selections, and budget breakdown. This is our opportunity to show you the full potential of your space. Afterward, we sign the Furnishings Proposal and Agreement, and you then submit the balance of our design fee and the furnishings budget. If you request revisions, we schedule a follow-up meeting for the final presentation and agree to any budget adjustments then.

 

Construction Project Oversight and Product Management. We hire and work directly with builders and other contractors to carry out design plans per our specifications. We also manage the procurement of all furnishings and decor items, track and manage all orders, assess lead times, and do our best to ensure timely completion per our projected timeline. 

 

Receipt of Orders. We receive all furnishing orders, inspect for damages, and store items until we’re ready for the big installation day. We submit claims and reorders for any damaged items that arrive. You can enjoy peace of mind knowing we also handle all the fabrication, production, and installation of your custom items.

 

Furniture Installation and Project Reveal. The day you’ve been waiting for finally arrives! We install and style all items for a beautiful finish and inspiring reveal. You get to walk into your rejuvenated space—and throw that party to show it off! We know you want to, and you deserve it. Note that installation typically requires a single day.
